Transform Your Teaching

Module II Curriculum Details

For this Yin Yoga Teacher Training Intensive, you will get plenty of instructor and peer feedback. You’ll have opportunities to experience poses, propping strategies, and  assists. Discover a sequencing model that will allow you to create cohesive, cravable sequences with confidence. Learn how to bring your ideas and passions forward in impactful class themes.

Yin Pose Repertiore

Yin is unique because we do a whole lot with just a couple dozen poses. Expeience how the pose categories you learned in Module I feel and behave in duration practice. Discover pose hybrids and how to create your own special shapes to target specific areas.

Yin Sequencing

Yin sequencing is deceptively challenging. Good sequences are more than just a collection of poses. Exceptional sequencing tells a body story that evolves throughout the practice. Add a new model into your teaching to both simplify and amplify your teaching.

Yin Propping Strategies

Props are the key to a truly satisfying practice. Learn some special techniques to get the most of the coolness and restoration of Yin. You’ll be amazed at the magic you can create with simple props like a blanket or a strap.

Yin and the Nervous System

Your students are so much more than just muscles and bones. The nervous system is a overlooked component of self and practice. Learn the Yin Yoga impact on the nervous system and how to get better at providing a healing experience for yur stressed out students.

Yin Assists

Yin assists are less about correction, and more about nurturing. Develop skills to quickly assess a pose and provide subtle but impactful hands on suggestions to students. All assists are based on principles of Thai Yoga Massage.

Yin Theming

It’s the cherry on top that brings students back again and again. An amazing theme, a well crafted and delivered message in class is possible for you. You’ll learn a theming model to take the guesswork out of offering themes and stories.

Bonus Training in Somatics

Somatics: Somatics are all the buzz for mind body professionals. Break through the fad to discover how somatic movement can help you to make your classes infinitely adaptable and accessible to all students. Learn how to use the principles of somatics to help your students to regulate their nervous systems, to restore difficult or painful movements and to deeply connect with their multi layered self.

Alumni Feedback

“I would definitely recommend this training and any of Mandy’s trainings to others. Mandy is one of the most knowledgeable and well-spoken yogis I have ever met. This training was packed with information, well organized and structured, and left me wanting more. I probably got as much or more out of this 5 days than my 200 hr YTT. This class reinvigorated my desire to learn about and teach yoga.”

Crystal

“Mandy is a wealth of knowledge and she is able to articulate her message clearly and with passion. She is a great example of true dedication to her purpose and it’s amazing to learn from her. I look forward to the next opportunity.”

Elle

“This course really challenged some of my teachings and understandings of fitness and yoga. While it was uncomfortable at first, I grew in the short time we were together to embrace it, make space for it. I tend to avoid conflict in all aspects of my life…sitting in discomfort and digesting. Hummmm sounds like Yin? I was most attracted to the science behind the practice…and the training did not disappoint. Knowledge, resources, science, resources…loved it all! It was amazingly overwhelming and I’m super excited to continue experiencing Yin both as a practitioner and teacher.”
