Yin & Somatics: Here for Now
I think we’re all a little tired right now. Things are piling up for sure at this stage in the pandemic. This is a practice that I offered recently to bring a bit of TLC and care to some students who are dealing with some heavy stuff.
Even in these moments, maybe especially, Yoga has something to offer. This practice is all about being available to now, a moment where everything is right. I’ve also used movements to gently provide an experience of safety for you to let down your guard for a bit.
Though you can’t magically emerge from the present moment into easier times, you can being a bit more resilience and peace to your troubles.
Props needed: Bolster (or pillows), blocks and blanket.
